My expectation for this class is to pass it with a good grade. I also want to be able to know what causes certain behaviors to happen. I am really looking forward to learning more about behaviors and more about what psychologists do as a job and how they can help all kinds of people. I am really excited to learn about behaviors and certain method of researtch we can do to figure some things out. I expect it to be a class that I will have to spend a lot of time working on outside of school compared to all of my other classes. I also expect to get a lot of homework in it and I think it will be a good into to college.

The placebo effect is where people make an experiment and tests out it's effects by having a different version of the original item and tries the normal one on one group of people and the different version on a different group of people. Ben Goldacre simply explains what the placebo effect is and how it effects all the people in the world and how it works when it comes to mecial research.
